 About the role Finance aim to ensure our people are enabled and empowered to deliver Our Business within budget.  We have an exciting opportunity for a capable Business Advisor to join our dynamic team make a contribution to how our team supports the business and provides continuous improvement. Youll work closely with a Senior Business Manager to support a portfolio of Police’s working groups.  Your role will involve managing and resolving any queries from the business on their financial performance, ensuring transactions are correct and complete, and assisting in the implementation of initiatives, projects and system enhancements. Key Accountabilities: 
  • Management and resolution of queries from the business
  • Compiling information and providing high quality reports
  • Working collaboratively with individuals and the team to deliver the best customer service.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of our transactional processes.

  • Previous experience in working in a finance department.  Public Sector experience is preferred but not essential.
  • An ability to analyse and present data visually in a clear and insightful manner.
  • Experience with the MS Office suite of tools, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.  Knowledge of SAP applications is preferred but not essential.
  • A professional manner with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • You should also hold or be studying towards obtaining accounting/finance accreditation from a recognised body and a relevant tertiary degree.
