Job Description

Great opportunity to be an integral part of the management team within one of Wellington’s leading panel and spray painters based in Petone.  We have a fun and friendly team with modern premises and state-of-the art systems and equipment.Main objective of the role is to organise and co-ordinate all office operations and procedures to ensure organisational effectiveness resulting in exemplary customer experiences. There are many aspects to the role encompassing:

  • Office Operations - invoicing, accounts processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, GST returns, payroll, policies & procedures management.
  • Customer Service – reception duties & managing customer relationships.
  • Human Resources – recruitment, contracts, policies and procedures, enhance company culture, staff development & initiatives and training co-ordination.
  • Health and Safety – Health & Safety Officer, manage Health & Safety systems, administration and programmes, manage monthly staff meetings.
  • Marketing – implement budget, oversee social media activity and website management.
  • Business Growth – assist with strategic planning and business initiatives.
This role needs the assistance and support of an exceptionally well-organised, motivated and driven individual who possesses strong accounts and office administration skills.  Xero experience ideal.Having worked in a busy operational role previously is advantageous.
